Since before the formal OCP Update engagement process, I’ve been encouraging residents, businesses, community associations and others to read up on the OCP Update, talk to others, and provide their input.
There have been a variety of avenues for input, and much input received.
We continue to receive input – lots of it. We received more today via email.
And I continue to encourage people to provide more. One more opportunity is the public hearing. It’s scheduled to start on September 11, and it could go on for longer.
City staff have prepared helpful materials – “a summary of the proposed changes and zoning map and access links to additional information, bylaws and reports” – all on the Engage Victoria website: https://engage.victoria.ca/ocp
